My mouth is filled with Your praise
And with Your glory all day long.
A great book on this is The Purpose and Power of Praise and Worship by Myles Munroe. This is a book I had to read when I was in Bible School. Really good.
I haven’t yet posted in response to the daily prompts on wordpress… but today’s prompt is praise. I happen to love “Praise”. So even though I don’t have a lot of time right now, here’s a nugget for you.
Praise is about lifting up the name of Lord for all to hear. Praise is not something that has to involve music, but it is fun when it does! The Bible says in Luke 19:40 [paraphrased] that if we don’t praise Him, even the rocks will cry out. The rocks will praise Him if we don’t! He is worthy to be praised! God is so good, I can’t help but praise Him and thank Him for who He is and How He loves us.
I love how God set up timezones around the world. That even though it’s day here in Canada, somewhere in the world it is nighttime. And as they sleep, praise continually goes up as Christians praise God around the world. This is our shift. Will we praise Him?
Praise the Lord!
Praise God in His sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty heavens.
Praise Him for His mighty acts;
Praise Him according to [the abundance of] His greatness.
Praise Him with trumpet sound;
Praise Him with harp and lyre.
Praise Him with tambourine and dancing;
Praise Him with stringed instruments and flute.
Praise Him with resounding cymbals;
Praise Him with loud cymbals.
Let everything that has breath and every breath of life praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)
God bless you today! Here’s a song to leave you with if you really want to experience some Praise unto God today. Take a listen, it’s so good.
