If you’re like me, you’re saying, “what? there’s a day for that? I thought that was everyday??”
My mom and I enjoyed an amazing cup of coffee at my lovely friend Kate’s house this morning. Along with very yummy almond croissants from my favourite bakery. And the kids played together peacefully and contentedly… what a great morning! At Kate’s they add cinnamon to theirs as it brews, it honestly tastes like Christmas morning.
These are instructions for stove top, but at the bottom you can find slow cooker instructions as well.
Note: Great way to use up chili leftovers is on nachos (directions… and mouth watering photo… also at the bottom).

I love guacamole – actually I love Central America, mostly Guatemala – I have been there 9 or 10 times… I lost track. I’m itching to go back, but not for the food, for the people there and the children’s home I was a part of starting. Soon I hope!

I’m putting off dishes and laundry at the moment, so I thought I’d spend a little time on the blog.
I’ve had a lot of fun lately watching my boys together. They are 3 and a year and a half. These two belly laugh all the time – they play hard, even wrestle, until one inevitably whines that the other played a bit too hard. Then before you know you know it the two of them are goofing off again. Oh the fun.
